To lead the children of the Wildwood area on the adventure of a lifetime: exploring God's truth, experiencing His love, and discovering His plan for their lives. To love and nurture each child that they may come to understand and accept the ultimate love of Jesus. To create such an incredibly compelling and inviting Sunday morning program for children that the kids look forward to it all week. When children are introduced to church and God, they are not taught religion or formality, but instead that faith is a real life adventure or quest. Children are taught by adults who are actively interested in their spiritual growth.
Each minister to children (staff, teachers, and volunteers) undergoes a security background check prior to being allowed to participate in the ministry. Our main concern is the safety of all children who come to worship with us. We also strive to be vigilant to the special needs of our children and guests. Some may have allergies, some may have anxieties, some may just be shy and need extra care. Whatever the need, we do our best to make you and your child comfortable with the experience in Kidz Zone at Rockwood. |
