Rockwood Baptist Church began on October 11, 1987 , as a mission of the First Baptist Church of Ellisville, Missouri, with 13 families and 12 acres of land. We met in a local school for worship and Sunday school and used Ellisville's offices and meeting rooms for weekday activities. We became an independent church and dedicated our new building in May 1995. Today, we are 178 members. Our church Pastor is Rick Biesiadecki, called by a vote of the membership on June 20, 2010. With Pastor Rick's leadership, we will search out God's will for Rockwood for Kingdom work. As we continue to seek God's face in service for Him, we find ourselves in exciting, life-transforming times. Sunday morning services feature messages that are biblically based, relevant, and life-application oriented. The music is uplifting and sure to lead you into meaningful worship with our God and King. We believe that solid teaching and heartfelt worship are key ingredients to Christian community.
