Prayer is our priority. Apart from Jesus, we can do nothing. We rely on prayer to seek God and pray for His will to be done in our lives, our church, our neighborhood, and the world. We also rely on prayer to minister to each other to seek guidance and relief in our hurts and burdens and in our thirst for greater intimacy with the Lord.

Rockwood's Intercessory Prayer Ministry asks Godly, committed men and women to set aside time each week in concentrated prayer for the needs of our nation, church body, pastor, missionaries, and the lost. is done through Wednesday evening prayer time at 7:00 PM prior to Bible study. Prayer requests are shared by each one attending. The requests are also shown on the "Prayer List" page of this site.

Many individuals have shared that this ministry has resulted in a deeper personal walk with the Lord Jesus Christ as they have drawn closer to Him in times of praise, confession, intercession, and adoration. If you would like to be a part of Rockwood's Prayer Ministry, please plan to commit to one hour each week on Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM.
